Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival

Binah will be performing solo and with her troupe Atini Bauseh at the Redwood Coast Bellydance Festival again this year. This will be a great festival with lots of dancers and vendor so please come check it out if you are in the area!

Earthdance

Binah and Sundari (Atini Bauseh), will be performing during Cheb i Sabbah's set at the 2006 Earthdance Festival. The performance will take place in the Dome on Sunday, September 17th from 7:30- 9pm. This is going to be an amazing festival with lots of great musicians and performers- you should come for the whole weekend!

Humboldt State University's Fall Harvest Festival

Binah and her new troupe, Atini Bauseh, will be performing during Cheb i Sabbah's set (2pm) at HSU's Fall Harvest Festival. This free event will also feature Lyrics Born, Everton Blender and more! It will take place on September 9th from 2-7pm on HSU's quad. Don't miss it!

Cheb i Sabbah/Baaba Maal at the Masonic Auditorium

Cheb i Sabbah & 1002 Nights will be opening for Baaba Maal at the June 16th Masonic
Auditorium show. Atini Bauseh (the troupe name for Binah and her beautiful dancer friend
Sundari) will be belly-dancing during Cheb i Sabbah's set. This is going to be an amazing

Turbo Tabla Tuesday

On Tuesday, May 23rd 2006 there will be a Middle-Eastern dance party with live drumming
by the amazing Karim Nagi Mohammed of Turbo Tabla ( www.turbotabla.com). Come and
shake your stuff, or just watch the various performances that will take place throughout the
evening (Karim, Binah, and local bellydance stars).

The party will take place at the Common Ground Community Center, at the Westwood
Shopping Center on Alliance Road in Arcata, California.

Atini Bauseh:
Atini Bauseh (Give me a kiss) is the name of Binah's new troupe. The world-premiere of the troupe will be at the San Francisco Masonic Auditorium on June 16th, 2006 (see Upcoming Events for more information). The troupe captures various styles of music and dance from traditional Middle-Eastern to modern fusion. Some performances will include collaborations with dancers from other specialities (such as capoiera). Roma Roots:
Binah is currently working on a new album, which is a fusion of hip-hop, trip-hop, dance, and middle-eastern music styles. Many of the songs on this album will be based on a 9/8 Karsilama rhythm. Please check back for updates on the release of this album.

Bellyboarding:
Binah is putting together a short belly dancing/skateboarding video with two other beautiful women who can belly dance and skateboard! We are hoping to not mess up any of our pretty costumes if
